DBVisit gives Oracle Standard Edition customers Enterprise Edition-class DR without the licensing cost. DBVisit Standby replicates redo log changes to a warm standby database — the same principle as Data Guard, but fully SE-compatible. For customers who need real-time data streaming, DBVisit StreamCDC captures Oracle redo log changes and delivers them to downstream targets continuously.
Code IT manages the full DBVisit deployment: initial setup, documented switchover runbooks, regular DR-test drills, and ongoing monitoring. For Enterprise Edition customers who need bidirectional replication, we recommend Oracle GoldenGate instead.
